Role Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and results-driven Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our smart home projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for landed residential construction and renovation works.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for construction and renovation.
- Conduct site measurements and valuations to track work progress and verify claims.
- Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Assist in contract administration, including tender documentation and post-contract management.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure cost-effective design and execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, progress, and compliance with specifications.
- Provide cost advice and value engineering input during design and construction phases.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction or landed residential projects.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
